Solid teak strips milled with a caulking groove. Sold in packs of five strips that cover 0.5 m², with or without self-adhesive backing.
The product
Adhesive layer on the underside under a protective liner. Peel the liner and press the strip in place.
For fitting with your own marine adhesive or fixings. Same profile and caulking groove.
The calculator adds supplies automatically from your deck area; you can change the quantities there, or add more here, or order supplies on their own. Delivery is free across Europe on any order with strips. Supplies-only orders are shipped at cost, quoted on the pro-forma invoice.
Cleans and prepares the strips before fitting. 1 litre is enough for one pack (five strips).
The bedding adhesive that bonds bare strips to the deck. 600 g covers about 0.5 m²: one per pack. Not needed for the self-adhesive version.
Fills the caulking grooves between the strips with the classic black deck seam. 600 g covers about 0.25 m²: one and a half per pack.
Enter the deck area. One pack covers 0.5 m². Per pack we add 1.5 seam compound, 1 deck adhesive for bare strips, and 1 litre of cleaner; change any quantity below.
Dimensions
Each strip has a stepped edge. When two strips meet, the step forms a groove 0.4 cm wide and 0.6 cm deep, ready to fill with black seam compound. Five strips laid side by side make a panel of 200 × 25 cm, exactly 0.5 m².

Proves the timber was legally harvested and exported under Indonesia's SVLK system. EU customs accept it as proof of legal origin.

The wooden crate was heat treated to 56 °C core temperature for 30 minutes.
Why this teak
Teak's natural oils help it resist water and rot, which is why it has been the deck wood of choice for generations.
Shipped with an Indonesian FLEGT licence, the document EU customs accept as proof that the timber was legally harvested.
Checked by the Indonesian quarantine authority and fumigated before shipping. The crate was heat treated to ISPM 15.
Every strip has the same stepped edge, so the seams come out even and the caulk sits at a constant depth.

We sell teak decking strips in packs of five strips (200 × 4.6 × 1.0 cm, covering 0.5 m² laid with a 0.4 cm seam), with or without self-adhesive backing, and the fitting supplies listed on the site. Prices are in euro per unit as shown at the time of ordering and are final: the Seller is not registered for VAT in Bulgaria, so no VAT is added to the price. Teak is a natural material: colour and grain vary from strip to strip and the photos on the site are examples.
Delivery within Europe is free for every order that includes at least one pack of strips. Orders of fitting supplies alone are shipped at cost, which we state on the pro-forma invoice before you pay. We ship within 5 working days of receiving your payment. Delivery takes up to 15 working days depending on the destination; we send you the tracking details when the parcel leaves. Please check the parcel on arrival and tell us within 2 working days if it is damaged.
If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason. See the right of withdrawal page for how to do it and the exceptions.
Consumers in the EU are entitled to the legal guarantee of conformity for two years from delivery. If the goods are faulty, contact us at hello@teakmarine.eu with your order number and photos; we will repair, replace or refund as the law provides. Normal variation in the colour and grain of teak, and wear from use or from incorrect fitting, are not defects.
The strips and supplies are sold for fitting by the buyer or a professional. Follow the adhesive and seam compound manufacturer's instructions. We are not liable for results of fitting that departs from those instructions.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise our liability to business customers is limited to the price paid for the order.
These terms are governed by Bulgarian law. Consumers also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of their own country of residence. Disputes may be brought before the competent courts in Bulgaria or, for consumers, in their country of residence. The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform is at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Consumers in Bulgaria may also use the alternative dispute resolution bodies listed by the Commission for Consumer Protection.

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period ends 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you, take physical possession of the goods (of the last item, if an order is delivered in several parcels).
Inform us of your decision by a clear statement, for example an email to hello@teakmarine.eu or a letter to Ribarska Str. 35, 4750 Momchilovtsi, Smolyan, Bulgaria. You may use the model form below, but you do not have to. To meet the deadline it is enough to send your statement before the period ends.
We will refund all payments received from you, including the cost of the delivery to you (except any extra cost from a delivery option other than our standard one), without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of the day we are informed of your decision. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is earlier. We refund by the same means you used to pay, unless you agree otherwise; you will not incur any fees as a result of the refund.
Send the goods back to Ribarska Str. 35, 4750 Momchilovtsi, Smolyan, Bulgaria without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day you told us you withdraw. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. Teak packs are long and heavy, so this may be more than a standard parcel rate; ask us for a quote if you like. You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is needed to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
